Recruitment agencies with the best client service in Asia

Recruitment agency ManpowerGroup has demonstrated excellence in its field, as seen at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, Malaysia.

The firm won gold in the category of best client service at the awards, which were hosted at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral earlier this year.

"The award is a demonstration of ManpowerGroup’s innovative and comprehensive solutions provision," explained Ashley Karnen Narayan, head of corporate affairs and strategic client services.

"Each of our stakeholders played a critical role in this valuable achievement – associates, clients and colleagues. However, our people, past and present Manpowerians, were the cornerstone of our success."

Silver in the category was awarded to EPS, while Accendo took home the bronze trophy.

"EPS Malaysia is privileged to bag four major awards, including the top recruitment consultant award,  at the Asia Recruitment Awards Gala Dinner event held on 19 April 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Congratulations to our EPS Malaysian Team for their awesome achievement!," the silver winner stated.

Over at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, Singapore, Resource Solutions Consulting Singapore clinched the gold award.

Held at the Shangri-La Hotel on April 13 in Singapore, ScienTec Consulting and Aspire tied for a silver award at the spectacular award ceremony.

Bronze in the category was shared by Spring Professional Asia and Henderson Scott.

Karen Tok, CEO of ScienTec Consulting, said, “We were thrilled with winning the initial three top awards and overjoyed with the announcement that we outshone all others to win the overall award for recruitment agencies – Asia Recruitment Grand Winner 2016. The competition was indeed intense as there was more than double the number of submissions from last year and we were up against established international MNCs, so meeting the demanding judging criteria was not an easy task. We truly were not expecting to win this many awards.

“We would like to thank Human Resources Magazine and the highly respected HR leaders in Asia Pacific who were the panel of judges, for having this platform to recognise excellence in recruitment practices. This industry event allows both corporate talent acquisition teams and recruitment agencies in the region to learn from one another."

Asia Recruitment Awards, held for the second consecutive year, are the region’s premier awards for recognising and rewarding excellence in recruitment, across in-house recruitment teams as well as recruitment agencies, held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

The Hong Kong edition of the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 was held on April 7, 2016, which saw Adecco Personnel winning the gold trophy for this category.

Audrey Low, Adecco Hong Kong & Macau managing director "proudly received the award in the presence of Ian Grundy, head of marketing and communications, Asia Pacific, Carols Estrada, head of legal and special projects, Asia Pacific and the Adecco Hong Kong management team at the award ceremony held at The Hotel ICON, Hong Kong," Adecco stated.

PageGroup took home the silver award, while Kelly Services Hong Kong were awarded bronze.

“To succeed in a highly competitive market, it is crucial to plan our strategy and marketing efforts based on insights from both our candidates and clients,” said Sharmini Wainwright, managing director, Michael Page and Page Personnel Hong Kong.

“We are extremely honoured to be receiving these awards and attaining these achievements is testament to our continued efforts to be the leading professional recruitment company."

All entries submitted were judged by a pool of more than 60 senior HR practitioners from the corporate and public sector across Asia. For this category, the judges looked for campaigns that were innovative, functional and, ultimately, productive.
