The second Asia Recruitment Awards organised by Human Resources were held last night at Hotel Icon.
With nearly 200 people in attendance, more than 60 trophies were handed out to the most respected in-house recruiters and recruitment agencies in Hong Kong across 23 award categories.
There were more than 100 entries, all of which were judged solely by a panel of the most respected HR directors in Asia.
DBS Bank (Hong Kong) was one of the biggest winners of the night among in-house recruitment teams, picking up eight trophies in total – including the Asia Recruitment Grand Award (in-house).
The bank also won four gold award including Best Employer Brand Development, Best Candidate Experience, Best Recruitment Innovation and Best Recruitment Evaluation Technique.
PageGroup took home the Asia Recruitment Grand Award (agency).
The firm also won two silver awards for Recruitment Agency: Best Candidate Experience and Recruitment Agency: Best Client Service.
For individual awards, Best Recruitment Professional (in-house) went to Kim Dimatulac from Philip Morris Asia.
The Best Recruitment Consultant (agency) award was won by Doris Lam from Elliott Scott HR.
For other outstanding performers Australia and New Zealand Banking Group grabbed six trophies including three gold award for Best Diversity & Inclusion Strategy (in-house), Best Regional Recruitment Programme (in-house) and Best Recruitment Team (in-house).
Technology firm SAP SE also impressed judges picking up six trophies on the night. The are gold winners for Best Use of Digital Media
Best New Recruitment Agency which recognises the best new players in the industry was won by JOBDOH (gold) and Xpand Group (silver).
Various other companies demonstrated their commitment towards excellence in recruitment, by taking home trophies across categories, such as Adecco Personnel, adidas Group, Charlotte Frank, Drake International, EY (Ernst & Young), Kelly Services Hong Kong, Li & Fung, Links International, GroupM Hong Kong, McDonald’s Restaurants (Hong Kong), New World Development Company, NWS Holdings, Philip Morris Asia, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Sino Group, Telstra International and Up Recruitment.
