In the period leading up to 30 June, registered employers will be exempt from compounding actions, prosecution and interests imposed on late contributions.
Malaysia's Social Security Organisation (PERKESO, or SOCSO) is extending the 'amnesty period' for employers to register their employees with PERKESO to 30 June 2024.
During this period, registered employers will be exempt from compounding actions, prosecution, and interests imposed on late contributions (FCLB).
Employers may register through the following methods:
- The ASSIST Portal
- Visit any 54 PERKESO offices nationwide
- Call the PERKESO careline at 1-300-22-8000
Should an employer fail to register during this amnesty period, PERKESO has affirmed that it will not compromise with the employer's non-compliance and there will be no more exemptions from enforcement action.
