New categories for HR Excellence Awards 2016

Human Resources, Asia’s only regional media and events brand, has announced its annual search for the brightest names and most outstanding accomplishments in the HR field for 2016.

The HR Excellence Awards, Asia's most respected awards recognising and celebrating excellence in outstanding human capital strategy and execution, honours high-calibre practitioners and organisations excelling in various areas of HR as well as the most successful HR programmes and initiatives.

The prestigious awards ceremony will take place in Malaysia on 4 October, in Hong Kong on 6 October, and in Singapore on 19 October.

The HR Excellence Awards welcomes entries from all private, public or non-profit organisations. Asia’s top HR teams will compete for over 25 categories which cover HR strategy, compensation & benefits, learning & development, corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, diversity, employer branding, leadership development and many more.

This year, the HR Excellence Awards has introduced several new award categories, such as Excellence in Workforce Mobility, Excellence in Employee Healthcare and Public Sector Employer of the Year.

“Honouring the contributions of esteemed professionals to the industry is also a way of marking its progress and promising future,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

“With this, the HR Excellence Awards will continue to promote not only standards of excellence in the field but also the values that keep the HR community united and thriving.”

The HR Excellence Awards 2016 will be judged by over 60 seasoned regional heads of HR from around Asia, making the HR Excellence Awards the only HR awards in Asia based on a peer review system. Companies represented on the HR Excellence Awards jury are the most respected Fortune 500 organisations and some of the biggest employers in Asia.

Past HR Excellence Awards winners are a who’s who of the most respected HR teams in Asia – American Express, ANZ, British American Tobacco, DBS Bank, Galaxy Entertainment, HIS Global, Hong Kong Broadband Network, Inland Revenue Board, IPG Mediabrands, Leaderonomics, Lumileds, Manulife, Maybank, Mitsubishi, National Environment Agency, Schneider Electric, Sime Darby Holdings, Singtel, Unilever and many more have all proudly accepted HR Excellence Awards trophies over the past six years.

The awards are 16 weeks away but there’s no time to lose – the first entry deadline is nine weeks away.
