Multiplier launches feature to streamline remote onboarding processes

A single-view dashboard will allow employers to keep track of invoice payments, delivery status, and the serial number and model of the purchased equipment that has been assigned to each employee.

Multiplier, a global employment platform, has announced a new IT assets and equipment feature that automates the purchase, setup, and return of assets such as laptops, monitors, headsets, and more.

Using a cloud service, customers will be able to select from an online catalogue of hardware products available for employees worldwide, where local prices and availability are displayed in real-time. Employers can then browse the catalogue and order the devices they need for their work on a self-service basis, without having to expend the cost upfront and wait for a reimbursement.

This, the company said, will allow companies to keep track of invoice payments, delivery status, and the serial number and model of the purchased equipment that has been assigned to each employee in one single-view dashboard.

Additionally, employers looking to order a laptop model or other equipment that is not readily available on the platform may do so by submitting a specific request on the platform. "Multiplier can service any commercially available laptop model, subject to availability," it was added.

Commenting on the new feature, Vamsi Krishna, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Multiplier, shared: "With our all-new IT assets and equipment feature, customers can streamline the onboarding process which supports employee engagement and retention, all whilst leaving the hassle of logistics and reimbursements to us."
