Mercer, global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments, has acquired Sirota Consulting LLC (Sirota). For over 40 years, Sirota has been a global provider of employee engagement solutions that offers the full breadth of organisational assessments, surveys, technology, and analytics.
As specialists in organisational research, Sirota’s advisory capabilities and technologies cover all aspects of the employee experience – including engagement, team effectiveness, leadership, and culture.
Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
“Employee engagement is one of the most important human capital issues facing business leaders today, and the acquisition of Sirota strengthens our consulting insights by ensuring our clients have access to leading expertise and data-driven employee survey research programs,” said Ilya Bonic, Mercer’s president of talent business.
“With Sirota’s highly regarded intellectual capital, global normative database, tools, and assessments, Mercer has the ability to address current trends in the marketplace that will benefit organisations worldwide,” he added.
In line with its mission is to help clients solve their business problems through employee research, John Mallozzi, Sirota’s chief executive officer commented: “Both Mercer and Sirota have the tools, technology, and insights to help organisations execute their strategy, enhance their talent management programmes, and unlock the full potential of their workforce.”
Human Resources spoke to Lewis Garrad, managing director of Sirota who has clarified that there will be no restructuring for Sirota employees.
“We are joining to add a consistent and enhanced level of global service to Mercer’s employee research and engagement practices. They will leverage our thought leadership, technology and expertise to deliver even better service to clients,” he said.
Adding on, he also commented: “As we join, Sirota team will be working closely with Mercer leaders to introduce the new services and intellectual capital that Sirota brings. We are very excited to be able to broaden the level of analytical capability we bring to clients too.”
The acquisition strengthens Mercer’s consulting capabilities in talent management and reinforces its commitment to employee engagement.
