How does an economic downturn affect mobility? Jessie Chan, HR head of Scomi Energy Services explores.
As we take a quick tea break, we would like to thank the gold sponsor of Workforce Mobility Interactive, Crown World Mobility, for their terrific support.
Next up is Richard Willeter, director of corporate services in Asia, for Crown World Mobility, bringing out the disruptors for the mobility industry.
Inaugurating Workforce Mobility Interactive is Thiyagarajan Govindasamy, APAC director of HR at Danfoss Industries, with a take on the three types of mobility policies, and how they have evolved in Danfoss over the past 40 years.
He explains how Danfoss maintains employee potential on the Y axis, and employee performance on the X axis. Based on this, their developmental needs are determined, and whether they are able to lead regionally or global.
And we're off! Regional editor of Human Resources, Aditi Sharma Kalra, takes the stage to welcome all speakers, sponsors and delegates.
"Take a look around you. Chances are you meet an expatriate daily while working across teams of diverse cultures. No wonder efficient and cost effective mobility policies are a priority," says Kalra.
