Is social recruitment really the answer?

Major companies in Asia have embraced social media as modern tool that can attract talent. Some have succeeded in navigating their networks while some have yet to master the medium.

The HR Leaders Summit, Asia’s most prestigious event for senior HR executives, will go beyond the nuts and bolts of social media as a recruitment instrument.

“Effective HR leaders do not take for granted what innovations such as social media can do for HR functions and talent attraction,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

"This year’s HR Leaders Summit will demonstrate how leading companies utilise social media to boost employee engagement, monitor competition and perform different talent management strategies."

The HR Leaders Summit is an ultra-exclusive, invitation-only conference for senior HR executives to be held at the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa on the island of Phuket in southern Thailand on 16-18 May 2016.

Last year, the HR Leaders Summit studied how platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter can shape employer branding and recruitment strategies.

The HR Leaders Summit 2016 will disclose how social media campaigns are faring, the actual results and opportunities they generate, and how current trends might change the future of many HR activities, from talent sourcing to overall human capital management.
