Vesak Day, also known as Buddha Purnima, Visakha Bucha, or Buddha Day, is a significant and auspicious festival in the Buddhist calendar.
It commemorates the birth, enlightenment (nirvana), and death (parinirvana) of Siddhartha Gautama, known as Buddha.
Vesak Day usually falls between the months of April and May and is observed on the full moon day of the lunar month of Vesakha.
It is also a time for Buddhists across the world to reflect on Buddha's teachings and their application in daily life.
