HR Practitioner Appointments

Nicholas Dhillon is Nestlé’s market HRBP for commercial businessesNestlé has promoted Nicholas Dhillon to the role of HR business partner for commercial businesses in the Malaysia and Singapore market, effective January 2016. He continues to be based in Malaysia and reports to Uzma Qaiser Butt, the HR director at Nestlé Malaysia and Singapore. Read more

Katherine Tan is now Singapore Power's deputy director for business partneringHaving been in Singapore Power since January 2013, Tan will now fulfill her duties as the deputy director (business partnering). Operating in Singapore, her specialties include handling the full spectrum of HR functions including HR planning, development and management, in a unionised setting.

Cargill expands talent acquisition teamSujeetha Subramaniam joins Cargill Holdings as a member of the talent acquisition team. Based in Kuala Lumpur, she was previously a senior recruitment consultant with KellyOCG. Subramaniam has experience in handling the full spectrum of the HR and administration function.

AXA Affin General Insurance welcomes Kenny Ho Yew HonKenny Ho Yew Hon has moved from Singtel to AXA Affin General Insurance, joining as senior executive, talent acquisition (HR) in Kuala Lumpur. Speaking to Human Resources, Ho said: "This year, I am expecting to achieve spectacular results in recruitment strategy in order to help the team to grow and become more efficient in terms of sourcing internally."

Japan Tobacco International welcomes Kay Jiun Lai as talent associateEffective February 2016, Kay Jiun Lai has taken on the role of talent associate at Japan Tobacco International. She has previously worked as a recruitment consultant at EPS Malaysia, and also as an assistant store manager at UNIQLO.

Rupert Brown relocates to Copenhagen to lead Maersk Group's HR functionAs head of HR - group services functions, Brown will lead global functions across the Maersk Group, such as procurement, consulting, oil trading, technology and innovation. Previously based in Singapore, Brown has over 16 years of regional business partner experience in Asia and Europe.

Alibaba Group appoints Jodee Kozlak as global SVP of HRKozlak will be responsible for helping to build Alibaba Group’s international leadership team as the company continues to expand. As SVP of HR, Jodee will jointly report to Alibaba Group deputy chief people officer, Jane Jiang and to Alibaba group president, Michael Evans. Read more

Nitin Seth strengthens Flipkart as chief people officerSeth was named CPO of India's largest online marketplace on February 17, 2016, reporting to Binny Bansal, CEO and co-founder. Based in Gurgaon, he joins Flipkart from Fidelity International, where he was managing director and country head for India.

Turner promotes Angela Santone to executive VP and global CHROHaving been SVP and CHRO since June 2013, Santone has been promoted to executive vice president and global CHRO for Turner, based in Atlanta. She will continue to have executive oversight of all HR functions for U.S. and international businesses, reporting to John Martin, chairman and CEO.

Kaushal Parikh joins HR team at FIOSA-MIOSA Safety Alliance of British ColumbiaHaving relocated to Canada from India, Kaushal Parikh is responsible for managing the HR function, including recruitment and performance management, effective December 2015. He brings more than 17 years of experience, having previously been VP of HR at Prana Studio in Mumbai.

HR Solutions Provider Appointments

TBC HR Consulting appoints Dickson Kee as a senior recruitment consultantPreviously working with RecruitPlus Consulting, Dickson Kee is now TBC HR's Consulting new senior recruitment consultant. Kee is based in Singapore, and is involved in providing market knowledge and strengthening client relationships. Kee told Human Resources his focus for this year is to grow the infocommunications recruitment division.

Sophia Ng is Randstad's accounting and finance associate consultant  Having taken on the role of Randstad's associate consultant - accounting and finance, Ng is part of the corporate services team which covers accounting and finance positions. She specialises in recruiting accounting and finance roles in the IT industry, while based in Kuala Lumpur.

Siti Sarah Badri joins Randstad Sourceright as a sourcing specialistEffective February 2016, Badri is sourcing specialist at the Randstad Sourceright APAC Sourcing Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Her current responsibilities include attracting and matching candidates with client companies across Asia Pacific region, as well as qualifying roles with onsite recruiters/clients.

Prospect Consulting Malaysia hires Norfarrahin Nadia Muhadi as consultantNorfarrahin Nadia Muhadi has been appointed by Prospect Consulting Malaysia as a consultant since February 2016. She will be operating from Kuala Lumpur, and also has been exposed to working for companies such as Eduspec Holdings Berhad, Ole Ole Manis, as well as Herbalife.

Hays' Majura Perashot is recruitment consultant for IT infrastructure divisionAs part of the Hays' team, Perashot has moved from recruiting construction and property professionals to hiring for the IT infrastructure sector since February this year. She has previously worked as a youth programme leader in Leaderonomics, and researcher at Malaysian Care.

Jade Lo named associate director, technology, by Wellesley AssociatesEffective February 2016, Wellesley Associates's new associate director, technology, Jade Lo will operate from Hong Kong. She joins over from Ambition Asia, where she was managing consultant, specialising in the digital, online and mobile technology space.

Tim Nice moves from Mercer to KPMG AustraliaAs part of KPMG's executive reward practice in Sydney as a partner effective February 2016, Nice brings consulting experience having been principal consultant at Mercer, and corporate experience as VP of global retirement planning at American Express.
