HR Practitioner Appointments

The Body Shop expands Aditi Madhok-Naarden's role to cover more geographiesFrom HR director for the Asia Pacific region, Aditi Madhok-Naarden is now HR director for the Singapore market, Asia Pacific as well as Latin America at skincare chain, The Body Shop. She has been with the company since August 2015, and continues to be based in Singapore. Prior to join The Body Shop, she was senior HR business partner - international markets at MasterCard, and has also worked with Deutsche Bank, Prudential Assurance, and other over her vast HR career. Benjamin Wong appointed CHRO at K. Wah International HoldingsAfter five years at Knorr-Bremse as human resources director, Asia Pacific, Benjamin Wong has taken on a new role with real estate developer K. Wah International Holdings in June. In his new role as chief human resources officer, Wong will oversee the overall talent management processes for the organisation, which focuses highly on people as important assets.

"Joining a real estate development business is a new experience for me. I believe the skills I have developed in previous positions in human resources, along with my CPA and MBA qualifications will help ensure a smooth transition," said Wong in an interview with Human Resources. [Read more]


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Catherine Li-Yunxia is the founder of Working Mothers in Leadership InternationalAn experienced talent development consultant and accredited leadership coach, Catherine Li-Yunxia has established a non-profit organisation, Working Mothers in Leadership International. In this role, her top priorities are to create awareness of providing transformational support to working mothers, empower working mothers to be the person they want to be, and help develop self-leadership in working mothers.

She is also the founder of executive coaching and people development consultancy, Sunglow Leadership International. Based in Singapore, she has 16 years of prior work experience, including at Lee Hecht Harrison, Siemens, and INSEAD Executive Education.

Joanne Heng commences expanded role with AIA in MalaysiaAn experienced professional in the insurance sector, Joanne Heng has been appointed as the head of strategy and transformation at AIA, moving up from her previous role as head of learning and development. She has been with AIA in Kuala Lumpur since February 2013, when she joined as head of strategy and business planning, and the latest role sees her moving to Singapore. She was previously with Prudential Assurance Malaysia.
