Michele Manigart is SEEK Asia’s Chief Strategy Officer

SEEK Asia, a career and employment business, in June 2021, has appointed Michele Manigart as its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Based in Malaysia, Manigart will be reporting to Florian Dehne, Strategy Director, AP&A (Asia Pacific & Americas).

Commenting on Manigart’s appointment, Dehne said: “We are delighted to bolster our leadership team by adding someone of Manigart’s calibre and track record.

“She will be instrumental as we look to improve our market position and pursue growth opportunities in Asia.”

In her new role, Manigart is responsible for defining and driving locally-responsive, group-aligned strategic priorities, while building and leading a team of strategists.

Prior to this role, she held the position of Director of Operations for Global Knowledge and Asia Telecoms, Media, and Tech (TMT) Practice in McKinsey & Company’s Kuala Lumpur office. There, she served for close to 14 years—rising through the ranks from a consultant to a director.

“Manigart's appointment could not have come at a better time. We have been investing in our Asia team significantly to transform our Asia business into Southeast Asia's leading career platform,” said Peter Bithos, Chief Executive Officer, SEEK Asia.

“Manigart brings fresh views, a unique voice, a high-energy personality and strong people leadership skills to what is increasingly one of Southeast Asia's best emerging tech teams,” he added.

Globalization Partners’ new position VP of Partners and Alliances for APAC has a new name

Globalization Partners, a global expansion platform, in June 2021, has announced the appointment of Craig Goldblatt to its new role, Vice President of Partners and Alliances for Asia-Pacific (APAC). In this role, he is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Goldblatt’s role sees him responsible for key partnerships, and growing revenue from strategic alliances with like-minded, dynamic organisations focused on enabling companies to hire global remote talent anywhere in the world, while creating a seamless business experience for customers and end users.

“Craig’s drive, energy and enthusiasm are infectious and his knowledge and professionalism will truly help elevate the role that Globalization Partners plays in breaking down barriers to global growth and expansion,” said Charles Ferguson, GM, Asia Pacific, Globalization Partners.

Following more than 13 years at IBM, Goldblatt moved to the role of VP of Sales at ADP which he held for seven years before joining the Globalization Partners team.

On his appointment, Goldblatt shared: “The opportunity that Globalization Partners has in the APAC region is enormous, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to execute our partnership strategy as we continue to grow our presence here.”

Karthik Krishnamurthy is Paradox’s VP for APAC

Paradox, an AI platform company, in June 2021, has added a leader in its ranks in the form of Kartik Krishnamurthy as the company’s Vice-President, Asia Pacific (APAC), based in Singapore.

At Paradox, Krishnamurthy is in-charge of building on the company's momentum in Asia — growing partnerships with the company's current clients in the region, and building out a team to meet rapidly growing interest in Paradox's product globally.

"I'm very excited to be on the journey to bring Paradox into this region," Krishnamurthy spoke about his new position.

"With over half of the world's population and 30% of global GDP, APAC has always been a key growth engine for global companies and I believe the timing's perfect to grow the business here by helping our clients transform their people strategy."

Before taking up a role at Paradox, Krishnamurthy served as the Managing Director of Cornerstone OnDemand in Asia, where he executed the strategic vision and regional plan to support the company's growth. Before Cornerstone, he plied his trade at LinkedIn and ADP.

"When we started Paradox, we had a clear vision for building a different kind of software company — one that helps clients across the world spend more time with people, not software," said Aaron Matos, Paradox Founder and CEO.

"We've been fortunate to work with several global organisations in APAC and organically grow our presence in the region. Krishnamurthy is a fantastic addition to help carry that momentum forward."
