HR practitioner appointments

Petrofac promotes team lead (HR operations/ C&B)Mohd Hafiz Md Hanif has been promoted to team lead HR operations/ C&B) in January 2017 at Petrofac, a leading service provider to the oil and gas production industry. Having been with the company since August 2012, Hafiz has seen through various roles in HR where he has held the positions of HR advisor, C&B advisor and HR business partner. Previously, he has also worked with Astro, Petronas and others. He is currently based in Malaysia.

Gary Murphy promoted to regional head (talent management)Currently the regional head (talent management) for PDM International a JLL company, Murphy provides advice and guidance on all talent management and human resource-related activities within his scope of responsibilities; including merger and acquisition. Not only that, he has a keen interest in diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Based in Hong Kong, Murphy has worked with HKHR and Alliance Group International HK previously; as well as close to nine years with Queens Counsel in Glasgow Scotland.

Sujeetha Subramaniam now head of talent at Lion & LionSujeetha Subramaniam has joined Lion & Lion as head of talent in April 2017. Lion & Lion is a data-driven digital marketing agency with a strong focus on the hands-on execution of online campaigns across multiple channels. Based in Malaysia, Subramaniam previously worked with Randstad Sourceright, Cargill Holdings, Kelly OCG as she performed various HR functions such as team lead, talent acquisition, and senior client recruiting consultant respectively.

LEGO Group welcomes new HR consultantMoving from Noah's Ark Hotel and Resort to the LEGO Group, Alex Chan is its newly appointed HR consultant. He is currently based in Hong Kong, where he plays the roles of recruiter, L&D coordinator, reward and recognition specialist, and environmental, health and safety in-charge. In these roles, he will provide support to the L&D manager, conduct first and second rounds of interviews, identify and evaluate workplace hazard, deliver analysis reports amongst other tasks.

Reymil De Jesus joins Onspec SolutionsIn March 2017, Reymil De Jesus joined Onspec Solutions in Philippines. With more than 3 years of recruiting experience, De Jesus has held various roles including senior recruitment officer, technical recruiter, recruitment specialist, with companies like Procter & Gamble; Kenexa, an IBM company; Manpower Outsourcing Services and more. Before moving to Onspec Solutions, her last appointment was with Lighthouse Business Solution Phl Inc. as a senior recruitment officer.

3Seasons Group introduces general manager (recruitment, training and development)Joining 3Seasons Group as its general manager, Faruk Md Omar brings with him 10 years of working experience with domestic and foreign companies in the field of HR and general management. Based in India, he currently oversees all HR and administration activities of the 3Seasons group. Additionally, he manages the overall internal and external recruitment process for local organisations, banks and MNCs; as well as reviews HR policy and employees SOP. Prior to this, he has worked with ANOVA Consultant Corporation, Lincoln University College, The Palace Luxury Resorts and Spa, and more.

Neo Derm strengthened by appointment of senior executive human resourcesBased in Hong Kong, Kelvin Lin comes with solid experience in handling full spectrum of recruitment process. Currently with Neo Derm as its senior executive human resources, Lin provides full support to the HR team in all human resources functions, including recruitment, performance management and employee relations. Additionally, he is responsible for the end-to-end process of assigned recruitment activities and events; along with managing the staff movement, on-boarding procedures and exit arrangements.

Credit Suisse appoints Prashant Bhatnagar as director human resourcesA HR leader with cross-cultural experience in building and leading high performing teams across North America, APAC and India, Prashant Bhatnagar is currently Credit Suisse’s director human resources. In his current role, Bhatnagar is responsible for attracting and enabling talent to help realise the company’s strategy to position itself as a leading global wealth manager, its specialist investment banking capabilities and its strong presence in the home market of Switzerland. He is based in India.

Mohaneswary Davadason Hanwha Q Cells as its HR executiveHanwha Q Cells welcomes its new HR executive, Mohaneswary Davadason who joins with more than 4 years of human resources experience including recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, change management, labour relations and benefit administration. Previously working with companies like Sharps & Bin and IBM Malaysia, Davadason has demonstrated experience initiating cost containment strategies resulting in significant savings, along with an excellent ability to address and implement plans for talent acquisition, retention and succession planning. She is currently based in Malaysia.

Kossan Rubber Industries appoints HR executiveAn international trade and development company located in Wisma Kossan, Kossan Rubber Industries appoints Mohd Firdaus Daud as its new HR executive. Previously from Sime Kansai Paints for close to 5 years, Firdaus holds a vast experience in learning & development; industrial relations; as well as administration, OSHA and QMS. During his time with Sime Kansai, his core roles included identifying training needs, implementing total training company plan, and evaluating the effectiveness of training amongst others. He is currently based in Malaysia.

Employees Provident Fund welcomes head of HR strategy and implementationEmployees Provident Fund welcomes Rizal Razali and he joins the firm in March 2017. Currently holding the position of head of HR strategy and implementation at the Malaysian government-owned company. Holding close to 20 years of experience, Rizal has worked with big names such as Procter & Gamble, Axiata, Maxis, Hay Group and more. He is currently based in Malaysia.

Heads! Executive Consultancy welcomes new associateBased in Hong Kong, Annie Chiang has joined Heads! Executive Consultancy as an associate in March 2017. Heads! is an international executive search boutique focused on recruiting senior-level executives in the consumer/retail, digital and technology, financial services and manufacturing sectors. For her current role, Chiang is supporting global searches in the following sectors: real estate and infrastructure, digital and technology, consumer/retail and Industrial. Prior to this, Chiang has worked with Harvey Nash Executive Search, Endaba Group, HRnet One; amongst others.

Oliver Chan promoted to senior talent acquisition lead at AccentureJoining Accenture in 2015, Oliver Chan started off under talent acquisition (accenture operations, corporate functions). Nearly two years later, Chan has been recently promoted to senior talent acquisition lead at the global professional services company in February 2017. Previously, Chan was an executive search at Agiley; and prior to that, serving as SIA’s leading steward. He is based in Singapore.

FCM Travel Solutions announces new management structureFCM Travel Solutions (FCM) has unveiled a new management structure in Asia to leverage regional expertise and spearhead business expansion. Based in Singapore, the new management team is headed by Bertrand Saillet, general manager, Asia, corporate. Bertrand was previously the general manager for Southeast Asia, and in his new role, he will be overseeing sales and marketing, account management and operations across the entire region.

The new management team consists of Carlo Bezoari and James Ellis as sales director for Southeast Asia and North Asia respectively; Shaun Clear and Caroline Kerr as operations director for Southeast Asia and North Asia respectively; with Joanna Patterson as account director Asia; Agnes Heng as marketing director Asia and Terence Eng as head of IT solutions Asia. Additionally, Nathan Zhang will remain as general manager for China, reporting to Saillet, and will focus on sales acquisitions and management of existing customers.

EY welcomes senior associatePreviously from Korn Ferry Hay Group, Sarah Ee Lyn Yeoh contributed to the running of bids, project/client engagements and targeted research and analysis in her past role as associate consultant. Joining EY in March 2017 and based in Malaysia, Yeoh is now a senior associate in the multinational professional services firm. Graduating from Monash University in 2012, Yeoh has also worked Philip Morris International when she started out her career in 2013.

VHR Consultancy promotes consulting managerHaving joined VHR Consultancy for close to two years, Kuvendran Vyanan Hari Vyanan has recently been promoted to consulting manager. Based in Malaysia, Vyanan is responsible for attracting business from client companies, running the psychometric test division, headhunting, reviewing recruitment policies amongst others. Vyanan was previously working with Monroe Consulting Group where he served as an executive recruitment consultant.

Beacon International Specialist Centre welcomes key account managerBased in Malaysia, Michelle Gomes has joined Beacon International Specialist Centre in March 2017. Started as a sole cancer centre in 2005, Beacon Hospital has now expanded to a multidisciplinary hospital with 8 Centres of Excellence led by a team of specialised, professional and experienced senior consultants coupled with our best equipped technologies. Serving as its key account manager, Gomes graduated from KDU University College with a Bachelor of Arts (BA), business management and marketing in 2013. Prior to this, Gomes has worked with Quorse and Info Trek. 

Evelyn Goh joins Oracle SingaporeJoining Oracle Singapore in March 2017, Evelyn Goh is currently serving as senior talent advisor where she is responsible for all Cloud-related recruitment. She was previously from Alexander Mann Solutions as its principal resource specialist where she was placed onsite at Deutsche Bank in October 2016; responsible for COO technology hires. Following that, she was onsite at CBRE from November 2016 to March 2016, responsible for global workforce solution requisitions. She is based in Singapore.

New executive search consultant joins Voyager InnovationsHandling all executive searches for Paymaya and Voyager Innovations, Patrick Jess Dimayuga comes with proven 6 years track record of success locating, identifying and closing top candidate talents, with special emphasis on hard-to-fill positions. Based in the Philippines, Dimayuga has worked with Smart Communications where he handled all executive requirements for Smart and its subsidiaries. Additionally, he has acted as the LinkedIn expert for the People Group.

Michael Page promotes Kamil Butt to senior consultantJoining Michael Page in 2015, Kamil Butt has been promoted to senior consultant in April 2017. In his current role, Butt specialises in the recruitment of legal support staff within all industries, including roles such as company secretary, paralegal, legal and compliance, legal manager and more. He is based in Hong Kong.
