HR Practitioner Appointments

New role for Jardine Matheson's Marcelo Paraizo Paraizo was appointed head of talent & technology in May.  Previously he was the company's group human resources director.

Prior to Jardine Matheson, Paraizo was in Dubai serving as the HR director at Schindler Group.  In 2016, he relocated to Hong Kong to join Jardine Matheson.

Tricor Group welcomes chief people officer Olivier Maitre was appointed chief people officer at Tricor Group in April.  He brings with him more than 20 years of experience as regional head of HR worldwide, across industries.

Maitre is also the founder and CEO Thymus Consulting, a position he had held since September 2014.

New hire at Hang Seng Bank Jasmin Wong was appointed HR manager, talent acquisition & onboarding at Hang Seng Bank in May.  In the new role, she will be focusing on the recruitment and staffing for retail banking and wealth management teams.

Wong brings with her more than 10 years of experience in human resources.  Her previous appointment was talent acquisition manager at Standard Chartered Bank.

Oriental Partners welcome new HR manager After more than seven years with Tsit Wing Coffee, Mandy Hau joined Oriental Partners as group HR & admin manager in May.  Her previous position was at Tsit Wing Coffee was group HR & admin manager cum corporate social responsibility programme leader .  She started her career in human resources in 2006.

BC Technology welcomes new members to the recruitment team Adrian Ng joined the Fintech company in May as senior recruiter.  Ng started his career in human resources in 2011 and had served in a number of roles as recruitment consultant.  Prior to BC Technology (Hong Kong), he was a senior consultant at Randstad.

Langham Hospitality Group promotes human resources manager Louise Yeung was promoted from assistant human resources manager to human resources manager in May.  She joined Langham Hospitality Group in 2015.  She has 10 years of experience in human resources, specialising in recruitment and employee relations.

Ovolo Hotels strengthens HR team Komal Singh was appointed human resources manager at Ovolo Hotels in May.  Her previous job was manager HR & administration at Square Yards in Singapore, she relocated to Hong Kong for the role.

Singh has more than 8 years of work experience in human resources across various markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, UAE, Oman and Qatar.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Morgan Philips welcomes managing director Angel Ng was appointed managing director, Fyte Hong Kong & director, Morgan Philips Executive Search at Morgan Philips Group in May.   Fyte is a specialist recruitment firm, part of Morgan Philips in Greater China and Morgan Philips group globally.

Her previous appointment was principal at actionDirect Search.  She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in recruitment.

Top Executive (Asia) promotes director Jacqueline Lee was promoted to director, talent acquisition in May.  She was promoted from the senior manager role.  Lee had been with the company for more than 23 years, she joined the company in 1995.

New hire at KOS International Christina Lau joined KOS International in May as managing consultant.  Her previous position was associate director at Elliott Scott.  She had been serving in the recruitment sector since 2012.
