HR Excellence Awards 2024, Indonesia: Meet the finalists

Mark your calendars for the grand reveal of the winners of the HR Excellence Awards 2024, Indonesia on 19 July 2024 (Friday). This glamorous soirée will serve as a platform for the HR community to unite and honour these trailblazers who have not only redefined but also exalted the very essence of HR excellence.

Ahead of the awards, HRO is pleased to reveal the list of outstanding finalists spanning 39 categories:

Our esteemed panel of judges for this sixth edition of the awards hail from renowned organisations such as Bank Maybank Indonesia, BTN, Bulgari Resort Bali, Ceria Group, dentsu Indonesia, Fast Food Indonesia, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Kapal Api, Morula IVF Indonesia, Paragon Technology and Innovation (Paragon Corp), Paxel, Perfetti Van Melle, Philips Indonesia, Supratama Aneka Industri, The Ascott Indonesia Limited, UOB Indonesia, and VML Indonesia.

Irvandi Ferizal, Human Capital Director, Bank Maybank Indonesia
, was gladdened by the "big wave of commitment and effort towards HR excellence implementation timely; not just from big name of companies or Jakarta based, but also local and regional based companies from out of Jakarta." He also suggested that the next step was “to show the impact from all efforts to the business; not just to have it as HR practices.”

"The entries highlighted strong HR initiatives from leading corporations,” Gherry Akbar, VP-HR Business Partner of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison commented. "They and showcased the awards’ prestige and commitment to improving HR standards."

Noach Zebastian, Head of Talent Management, Perfetti Van Melle
also highlighted: "It was an awe-inspiring moment to see fellow HR going beyond and continue to strive for excellence. The strategies were very rigorous and comprehensive. Showing a high commitment to solve the present challenges while also preparing for future trends. What an exciting time to be HR professional!"

Meanwhile, fellow jury member Hennita Sitepu, HR Director, Philips Indonesia, praised the "many remarkable nominations emerged in the 2024 HR Excellence Awards Indonesia."

She shared: "It’s an honour for me to be part of the jury panel and to assess all great nominees through their innovative HR practices, prioritising employee well-being, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and fostering a culture of empowerment and belonging."

Last but not least, Herfi Rani Ifdalia, HR Director, VML Indonesia was inspired to see "many companies taking their HR programmes and their people more seriously, being proactive in long-term planning and preparing to manage future business challenges."

"This year, we have seen many excellent qualities that have provided more insight and different perspectives," the leader added.
