Named as one of the 25 Most Talented Global Training & Development Leaders by the World HRD Congress, Surya Prakash Mohapatra carries more than two decades of experience in various leadership roles in several leading IT organisations. He is currently the global leader for resource enablement at HP Global Operations Centres.

Before joining HP, he worked at Wipro, Microland, First Ring and Computer Garage. Some of his accomplishments were building the global training function for Wipro BPS which spanned across 10 locations including Brazil, Mexico, Romania, Poland, China and India and overseeing leadership development, capability building and talent management efforts in various organisations.

Chella Pandian is responsible for heading HR leadership and organisational development through best HR practices & HR strategy at Merck Sharp & Dohme as its human resources director.

Before taking this role, he held a global HR role managing emerging markets for Merck consumer care and was HR business partner for MSD India for two years. Pandian carries over 15 years in HR strategy, change management, HR business partnering and talent development.

He also possesses in-depth business knowledge of the life sciences industry, including API manufacturing, formulations, drug discovery, clinical research, global medical affairs, regulatory, pharma sales, CRO and biologicals.

As an HR strategiest, Amit Saxena believes in using logic and practical solutions for simple yet effective operational efficiency.

His role as the head of HR at Recron centres on the company’s human resources and management services division. With over 15 years of experience, Saxena has already worked with MNCs, like HCL, Honeywell, Schneider Electric and Solvay, and led change management, departmental revamps, process and efficiency building, M&A, communication and CSR related initiatives.

Saxena holds an MBA and a post-graduate certificate from University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, USA in Strategic Management. He also holds a Six Sigma Green belt certification from Honeywell and is a Certified Coach from International Coach Federation (ICF) specialising in Life and Executive coaching.

Among the leading companies represented in past Training & Development Asia conferences were AXA, KPMG, Sanofi, Seagate Technology, Shell, Singapore Telecommunications, Visa and many more.
