With over 14 years of experience in HR, Dheeraj Shastri, global human resources strategy & analytics head at Abbott Laboratories, is known for his finance and macro-economic expertise and various HR leadership capabilities which were developed while working with Fortune 500 companies like GE, Xerox, HP and most recent Abbott laboratories. His other strengths are in workforce planning, talent management, human capital assessment, predictive analytics, productivity analytics, headcount cost management, employee engagement and compensation & benefits.
Dennis Chai, director of HR shared services for Asia Pacific & Japan at MSD International, leads a group of managers, team leads, support analysts and outsourced vendors in China and Singapore. He monitors the day-to-day operations of the company’s Asia Pacific HR support centre. Chai holds a bachelor of science in information systems from Brigham Young University in Hawaii and also an MBA from the University of Western Australia.
In addition to Shastri and Chai, Human Resources magazine also welcomes Dion Groeneweg, HR transformation & workforce planning leader, talent, at Mercer. Groeneweg runs Mercer’s workforce planning & analytics practice in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America and spends the majority of her time advising companies on HR strategy, particularly in HR technology but also general business issues. Prior to joining Mercer, she founded and became the CEO of Cape Group Global, a leading human capital boutique consulting company.
