As the world's economy undergoes unprecedented change and slow growth, what is one of the biggest challenges for HR professionals?
"The challenge for HR professionals becomes more pressing in helping our organisations to respond strategically, and our employees to harness their individual potential," says Eudora Choo, vice president for benefits governance APAC at Deutsche Bank.
With this in mind, Choo explains HR professionals need to change the way they look at more traditional compensation & benefits models, particularly when it comes to non-cash rewards.
"To collectively drive success and sustainable growth, the traditional way of using market median comparable plan designs, differentiating on job titles, salaries and perceived prestige of employer brand needs to evolve."
To discuss more on this topic, Choo will deliver a presentation at Benefits Asia 2013, titled "Engage and differentiate through non-cash rewards", in which she will share strategic thinking and tactical approaches to using non-cash rewards as part of an overall workplace plan to engage and deliver a successful outcome.
Benefits Asia 2013 will take place on 23-24 October at the Sheraton Towers in Singapore.
