Companies registered with the ESD will be able to submit expatriate projections for Employment Pass and Professional Visit Pass roles for the year 2026. Unused 2025 projections will not be carried forward.
The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) has announced that the portal for companies to submit their Projection of Expatriates for the year 2026 will open on 15 December 2025. Companies registered on the ESD online portal may apply for their 2026 projections for both the Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass (PVP).
The projection is applicable only for the designated year. Any balance from 2025 must be utilised before the year ends, and will not be carried forward into 2026.
According to the guidelines, companies can submit their request by logging into their ESD account and selecting “applications”, followed by “projection” under the settings tab. They will then need to choose “projection year” and select “new projection”. Justification for the projection, along with the numbers of local staff and foreign workers, is mandatory.
Employers are reminded to update the latest e-SSM information before submitting the request. All required fields, including total local staff and foreign staff, must be completed. Companies should also ensure they select the correct projection year, such as 2026, and the appropriate position group. The available groups include top management, middle management, technical expert and entry level.
