Enterprise technology leader Blackboard joins HR Tech Interactive

How can technology be utilised to increase engagement and interactivity of the learning experience? HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s biggest and longer-running HR technology and innovation conference, happening in Kuala Lumpur on 12 September, in Singapore on 14 September, and in Manila on 28 September.

“More and more organisations are deploying learning programs as part of their HR strategy to motivate, engage and nurture their workforce,” said Tom Holz, senior director of Blackboard for Business and Government. “The use of technology for learning can help HR departments create the right learning environment and enable employees to improve their skills and knowledge and help businesses keep their people engaged while achieving business goals.”

HR Tech Interactive 2017 will explore the topics research into the HR community has found to be the most critical for the HR profession, such as talent analytics, mobile HR strategy, HR cloud, social media, and hiring tools. Here are some key sessions to look out for during the conference:

Presenting the session on “Learn, Grow or Become Obsolete”, Holz will share with delegates on how top organisations measure competencies, inspire collaboration and keep employees engaged with timely, relevant content. In addition, his presentation will cover how the HR team can deliver engaging and successful training programs with flexible and innovative learning environments.

Holz leads the Blackboard for Business and Government team. He helps multinational corporate clients achieve their business goals through technology-driven learning and development programmes. He is a learning technology and training veteran with 17 years of success in consulting and sales leadership roles at Blackboard and Cornerstone. He has partnered with more than 300 organisations in their transitions to and implementations of Blackboard.
