Employee Experience Awards 2024, Thailand: Meet the inaugural list of finalists

Check out who made the cut across 21 categories, covering employee wellness strategy, management training programme, and more.

The inaugural edition of the Employee Experience Awards in Thailand is fast approaching — and after months of anticipation, it is time to meet the finalists!

This distinguished acknowledgment of leading employers for their excellence in EX follows a meticulous judging process overseen by distinguished HR professionals across Asia.

With established roots in Singapore and Malaysia, the Employee Experience Awards stands as the sole peer-reviewed HR accolade in the region, spotlighting the foundational pillars of EX. #EmployeeExperienceAwards pays homage to the remarkable dedication of HR practitioners across the region in effectuating and reshaping four fundamental elements integral to a comprehensive EX strategy:

  • leadership,
  • learning,
  • engagement, and
  • talent acquisition.

The winners across 21 categories will be announced on 15 March 2024 at a gala night.

The awards were judged by a panel of respected HR leaders, from organisations such as AMAN Nai Lert Bangkok, Asset Wise, B.Grimm Power, Banpu Next Company, BevChain Logistics, CP Axtra, Dextra Group, DKSH Thailand, East West Seed International, FORVIA Faurecia, I.P. One, Jebsen and Jessen Group, Lazada Thailand, LIXIL (Thailand), Nissan, Pandora, Soneva, Thai Bev, Unilever Thai Trading, and ZF Automotive Thailand.

Here is what some of our judges have to say about the entries this year:

Auttawit Prasop, Head of People Business Partner, B.Grimm Power, wished to extend his gratitude to all participants for their outstanding and commendable contributions to the exemplary HR practices. "Such initiatives hold the potential to enhance productivity within the company and cultivate enriching experiences for its workforce. This underscores the pivotal role of HR as a strategic business ally."

Owen Fernandez, Group Head of Rewards & HR Operations, East West Seed International, emphasised that it was a “challenge judging this year as the majority of the entries were quite impressive and provided great insights into innovative HR practices both locally and globally.

"The participants were likewise diverse where representation was not limited to just MNC, but included relatively smaller organisations, and from various industries."

Meanwhile, Suthaphong Eamphanich, Group Head of Talent, Jebsen and Jessen Group, commented: "Serving on the Employee Experience Awards judging panel has been truly inspiring. The diverse range of initiatives reflects the dynamic role HR plays in shaping organisational success. Witnessing these impactful strategies has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of HR, and I'm grateful to witness the tangible impact these efforts are making on the future of HR and business in our country."

Pongsakorn Chanchaisrisakul (Kard), Head of Organisation and Talent Development, Lazada Thailand, highlighted that he gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by organisations in Thailand, and praised the entrants for "their solid structure, rich focus, and strategic impact."

For future improvements, Chanchaisrisakul suggested that rather than measuring efforts using non-strategic indicators, HR teams must adeptly craft a logical business case. "Establishing close relationships with business functions and actively participating in activities that enhance business acumen, such as attending internal business meetings or external knowledge-sharing events, are some of the easiest starting points."
