Eligible Singaporean HDB households to receive double GSTV – U-Save and S&CC rebates in July 2026

Across FY2026, eligible households can receive up to S$570 in U-Save rebates.

More than 1mn Singaporean households living in HDB flats will receive GST Voucher (GSTV) which are U-Save and Service & Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates in July 2026 under the permanent GSTV scheme.

The rebates, which are disbursed every April, July, October, and January, aim to help lower- and middle-income Singaporean HDB households offset their utility expenses and S&CC. The July payout is the second disbursement for Financial Year (FY) 2026.

Eligible households to receive double U-Save rebates in July

In July 2026, eligible households will receive up to S$190 in GSTV – U-Save rebates, depending on their HDB flat type. This is double the regular GSTV – U-Save rebate for the quarter.

Across FY2026, eligible households can receive up to S$570 in U-Save rebates.

The rebate amounts by HDB flat type are as follows (all figures shown are in SGD):

To qualify, there must be at least one Singaporean owner or occupier in households where the flat is not rented out or is only partially rented out. For fully rented-out HDB flats, there must be at least one Singaporean tenant.

Households whose members own more than one property are not eligible for U-Save rebates.

Eligible HDB households will receive the additional rebates together with their regular GSTV-U-Save rebates in April and July 2026.

Up to one month of S&CC rebates in July

Eligible households will also receive up to one month of S&CC rebates in July 2026, depending on their HDB flat type.

Across FY2026, eligible households can receive up to 3.5 months' worth of S&CC rebates.

Households are not eligible for S&CC rebates if there is no Singaporean flat owner or occupier, if the flat owner or essential occupier owns or has an interest in a private property, or if the entire HDB flat has been rented out.

No action required from eligible households

Eligible households do not need to apply for the rebates.

GSTV – U-Save rebates will be credited directly into households' utilities accounts with SP Services, while S&CC rebates will be credited to their S&CC accounts maintained by their respective Town Councils.

For U-Save-related enquiries, households may contact SP Group or refer to the govbenefits website for more information on the GST Voucher scheme. Residents who wish to check their eligibility for S&CC rebates can log in to the MyHDB page using Singpass. Queries relating to S&CC payments or account status can be directed to the respective Town Councils.

The Government has also reminded residents to stay vigilant against scams, noting that government officials will never ask members of the public to transfer money or disclose banking details over the phone. Anyone who is unsure whether they are dealing with a scam are advised to contact the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799.
