Bursa Malaysia will be closed in observance of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2024

Both securities and derivatives markets will be opened under normal trading hours on 9 or 10 April 2024, subject to the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal's official announcement of the first day of Eid. 

Bursa Malaysia, along with its subsidiaries, has announced that it will not be operating on these days in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2024: 

If Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 10 & 11 April 2024

  • Both securities and derivatives markets will be opened under normal trading hours on 9 April 2024. However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for derivatives market.
  • Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday (10 April and 11 April 2024).
  • Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 12 April 2024 (Friday).

If Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 11 & 12 April 2024

  • Both securities and derivatives markets will be opened under normal trading hours on 10 April 2024. However, there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for derivatives market.
  • Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on Thursday and Friday (11 April and 12 April 2024).
  • Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on 15 April 2024 (Monday).
