Asia’s leading HR strategy conference returns

Talent Management Asia, the region’s premier human capital strategy conference, is set to return in March 2017 to unravel the issues affecting policy decisions on talent attraction, engagement, development and retention.

HR heads and business leaders attending Talent Management 2017 will enjoy comprehensive case study sessions, panel discussions and interactive roundtable discussions on updates in the talent marketplace and other HR trends, as well as an abundance of networking opportunities.

Organised by Human Resources, Asia’s only regional HR media & events brand, Talent Management Asia is a two-day conference happening in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong in March 2017.

“The large turnout and the incredible feedback on the previous conference was one for the books,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine. “For 2017, Talent Management Asia delegates can expect more in-depth discussions with new insights and practical solutions from a powerhouse list of international speakers.”

In 2016, Talent Management Asia brought to the stage distinguished speakers, delivered thought-provoking presentations, and attracted over 250 participants from across Southeast Asia. The agenda covered global talent management outlook, compensation & benefits strategy, employee retention, organisational effectiveness and many more.

With the theme “Smart talent strategies for business growth,” Talent Management Asia 2017 will examine the topics that the HR community found the most critical in shaping human capital management as a business strategy and in optimising HR technology and people processes.

“Aligning HR strategy with organisational and business goals has always been the number one challenge for Asia’s HR community,” said Evon Yew, regional producer at Human Resources magazine. “This is why Talent Management Asia stresses that the core elements of an effective HR strategy are culture, systems, and people.”

The participants list of Talent Management Asia 2016 featured Fortune 500 companies and major employers across the region, such as CapitaLand, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Fox International, MasterCard, Mitsubishi, Singapore Airlines, Standard & Poor’s, The Nielsen Company, and Unilever. All presenters and panellists, such as Angeline Oh, VP for group talent management and development at SingTel, were director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

Held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in March 2017, Talent Management Asia is Asia’s biggest conference on talent management and human capital strategy. The two-day annual event is focused on global best practice HR strategy, features an agenda dominated by case studies and global thought leadership, and attracts a large audience of senior HR generalists and specialists as well as and CEOs, CFOs and COOs closely involved in their companies’ HR strategy.
