Winners and photos: HR Vendors of the Year 2016, Malaysia

Last night’s HR Vendors of the Year awards 2016, Malaysia, recognised ManpowerGroup’s excellence in matching the right candidates with the right roles across the talent acquisition spectrum by crowning it the Best Overall Recruitment Firm. [Full list of winners]

Organised by Human Resources and produced by Priya Veeriah, the HR Vendors of the Year awards is the biggest HR industry awards in Asia, held in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, with the Malaysia edition of the gala hosted at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

What makes the HR Vendors of the Year Awards unique is its two-tier selection process whereby judging for each of the 128 entries across 23 categories was done by an esteemed jury of 16 senior regional heads of HR from organisations across Asia.

The winners of the Best Mobility & Orientation Consultant category - Crown World Mobility with the gold, Brookfield Global Relocation Services with silver, and SIRVA Worldwide Relocation & Moving with bronze; as well as the Best Relocation Company category - Santa Fe Relocation Services with gold, Crown Relocations with silver and Allied Pickfords with bronze, delight expat staff as well as take away the administrative burdens from HR during the course of staff’s assignment.

Some of the other companies which made a significant impact on the jury included Fish Camp Learning, StrengthsAsia and GRINESS which walked away with the gold, silver and bronze award respectively in the category of Best Team Building Training Provider. Best Psychometric Testing Provider was another closely fought category, where CEB emerged the gold victor, Harrison Assessments Int’l the silver winner, and Accendo HR the bronze winner.

Apart from performing strongly in leadership development, the DDI team confirmed its dominance in the space through a gold trophy in the Best Succession Planning Consultant category. Joining DDI on the winners’ stand were Cubiks Malaysia and Accendo HR, winning silver and bronze respectively.
