Why this is truly the new gateway and getaway in Sentosa

This article is brought to you by Far East Hospitality.

When travelling for work, you often find yourself housed in a standard-size apartment, with a concrete skyline as your view and limited dining options. Far East Hospitality is looking to change all that with its three new properties set in Sentosa for a 2019 launch.

Business travel is rarely associated with leisure - you often find yourself housed in a standard-size apartment in the city, with a concrete skyline as your view and limited dining options at the end of your day-long meetings.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like having the straits as your view instead? Or, even to have the beach at your doorstep, where you can take a stroll and soak your feet in the water as you unwind? Walk a little and you find yourself surrounded by some of Singapore's top attractions to hold your business events and make them less mundane.

Far East Hospitality (FEH) is set to make these castles-in-the-air come alive in 2019 with its three new concepts located in one of Singapore's top-rated destinations, also known as the state of fun, Sentosa.

Step into the premises, and you are likely to cast an eye on the largest of the three properties, Village Hotel at Sentosa. Holding 606 rooms to cater to families just as well as business visitors, the hotel is defined by its modern architecture and vibrant room aesthetics.

Meanwhile, The Outpost Hotel is an adult-oriented getaway, offering 193 stylish guest rooms featuring chic and bold aesthetics for individual travellers and couples. Built for guests who prefer exclusivity, the rooftop pool and bar is perfect for evening cocktails, candlelit dinners and intimate celebrations.

Taking luxury to new levels is The Barracks Hotel with just 40 highly-exclusive rooms housed in a conserved colonial building. Rich in heritage and history, the hotel offers an experience designed for the discerning traveller.

Situated near Sentosa Bridge at Artillery Avenue in the Palawan area of Sentosa, the cluster is connected conveniently to the mainland, about 15 minutes from the Central Business District (CBD), while providing a gateway to the island's key attractions.

A new venue for corporate fun

With its large room inventory, Village Hotel at Sentosa is a perfect spot for conferences, summits and group meetings. In fact, one of its event spaces, The Commune, can hold up to 480 guests.

The hotel also features the Pamukkale Pool, an infinity pool overlooking the seaside. Here, guests can enjoy cocktails from the pool bar, sunset views, as well as the daily evening fireworks by Wings of Time - offering an outdoor venue to close business deals and relax with clients, colleagues and family in one setting.

To further inject the fun factor, all three hotels are located in an ideal 'centre-of-gravity' venue on Sentosa for team-bonding activities and retreats, including two of the most scenic and challenging championship 18-hole golf courses in the region, as well as the 11-storey, 181 meters long Fort Siloso Skywalk trail.

So whether you’re planning a scavenger hunt, an office 'amazing race' or simply looking to conduct business over informal settings, you've got all the spots you'll need right in one vicinity.
