Who are Asia’s best recruitment firms?

Today’s recruiters don’t just sift through resumes. They adapt to the dynamics of the labour market, optimising the hiring process through technology, build relationships and add enormous value to their clients by providing ideal talent. This is why the HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2016 will name Asia’s best recruitment firms and give HR professionals a guide to the recruiters they should work with.

The HR Vendors of the Year Awards, organised by Human Resources, is the only regional awards programme dedicated to recognising and celebrating the achievements of HR product and services providers, is happening in Singapore on 24 November, in Malaysia on 29 November, and in Hong Kong on 1 December.

According to Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine, the recruitment category emphasises how important the recruitment process is in shaping an organisation’s growth.

“The HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2016 will honour recruitment professionals who know how to turn principles into practice and vision into action,” she said.

In Singapore last year, staffing solutions provider Kelly Singapore dominated the recruitment category at the HR Vendors of the Year 2015, winning the gold prize for Best Overall Recruitment firm, while HR consulting firm Robert Half took home the bronze award for the same category as well as the gold award for Best Recruitment firm – non-management roles.

Other top awardees in the recruitment category were Randstand for Best Recruitment Firm - Mid management roles and senior management roles, and JobsDB for the Best Recruitment Website. The recipients of the Best Recruitment Process Outsourcing partner were Randstad Sourceright which won gold, while APBA won silver, and Capita and RGF both took home bronze.

In Malaysia last year, ManpowerGroup snapped up the gold award for Best Recruitment firms – non-management roles and Kelly Services took the top spot for the Best Recruitment firms - senior management roles.

The Best Recruitment Portal gold award went to Michael Page, while the silver and bronze prizes were given to Mudah.my and Spring Professional respectively. Moreover, Accendo HR Solutions rose as the gold winner for the Best Recruitment Process Outsourcing Partners, narrowly edging ManpowerGroup and Randstad Sourceright that shared silver and Adecco Personnel that went home with the bronze award.

In Hong Kong last year, Robert Half won the Best Overall Recruitment Firm at the HR Vendors of the Year 2015. For the Best Recruitment firms - Mid management roles category, both Randstad and Robert Half were awarded with the gold trophy. Page Personnel dominated the Best Recruitment firm – Non-management roles category, while Robert Half further proved its excellence by taking the gold award in the Best Recruitment firm - Senior management roles category. JobsDB emerged as the winner of the gold award for Best Recruitment Website followed by Recruit.net.

“The recruitment category awards aim to show that developing world-class hiring initiatives and practices can secure not only first-rate talent but also secure the company’s talent future,” said Evon Yew, regional producer at Human Resources magazine.

“Winning an award in this category at the HR Vendors of the Year 2016 will validate a recruitment team’s competence and credibility as a partner of HR in talent acquisition and talent management.”
