Up the ranks: SapientNitro gets new APAC hiring lead in Silva Robertson

SapientNitro, part of Publicis.Sapient, has strengthened its hiring team by bringing on board Silva Robertson as the hiring lead for Asia Pacific.

The appointment is part of the agency's commitment to investing in the growth of its talent, particularly in this region. The upcoming year will also see the launch of a structured internship programme for young executives.

Dr Christian Oversohl, Asia Pacific CEO, commented: "I am very happy and proud that Silva chose to join the APAC team.

"Talent acquisition is a key success factor for our growth and her incredible experience, commitment and leadership have already made a significant impact on our talent engine across the region."

In her role, Robertson will report to the global director of hiring, Kristina Shedd, and will be responsible for building a hiring team, attracting talent across the agency’s regional offices in Australia, China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Shedd said she was excited to have Robertson join the global leadership talent acquisition team, adding: "Her knowledge of the APAC market, combined with her deep expertise in recruiting and sourcing talent, will strengthen our position to attract and hire the best talent."

Robertson commented on her appointment, "SapientNitro is one of the rare organisations that heavily invests in bringing together a dynamic pool of people and empowering them to make an impact within the global organisation.

"I’m excited to be joining the APAC people team to help facilitate and drive this unique and diverse culture."

Robertson brings with her a decade of recruiting experience in the creative, media and advertising technology industries, coming over from Nakama Singapore, where she was the MD.
