Up the ranks: Nadiah Abdullah now helms the people agenda at Securities Commission Malaysia

Among other senior appointments at Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Nadiah Abdullah has been appointed as Executive Director, People & Corporate Resources, effective 5 August 2019.

As stated in her LinkedIn profile, in this role, Nadiah will helm SC's people agenda, to support the organisation in its move to be future-ready, through enabling technology, finance, procurement and business support functions. She will continue to be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Nadiah brings with her over 27 years of experience in management consulting, corporate transformation, leadership and talent management, as well as business integration and technology.

Prior to joining SC, Nadiah most recently served as Group Head of People Relations, People & Culture at AirAsia, where she took on multiple responsibilities including working with the deputy group CEOs, CEOs and group heads to understand business challenges and devise solutions to bridge people gaps; championed digital solutions for staff; drove the future-proofing initiative, and more.

She has also taken on multiple leadership roles at Ernst & Young, Sime Darby, and Accenture.
