Up the ranks: Elizabeth Berman joins GCL in new role of Chief People Officer

Global Critical Logistics (GCL), a provider of specialised logistics and freight forwarding across the live events, fine art, TV and film production, and automotive sectors, has appointed Elizabeth Berman as its Chief People Officer.

As the CPO, Berman will drive the success of GCL’s diverse verticals from a people perspective by developing a best-in-class HR infrastructure that provides a high service level to both employees and customers.

Berman brings with her a firm belief in the importance of prioritising mental health for all, which GCL deems a fundamental value underpinning her work, as she begins her new role at the organisation.

A leader who believes in culture as a strong foundation for company success, Berman spent her in career in several leadership roles with revenue responsibility in both for-profit and non-profit, large enterprise, and start-ups. Her previous roles have seen her traverse the sports, entertainment, hospitality, and consumer products industries; with organisations such as Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment (Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center), Nike, Estee Lauder, and Vevo. She has a track record of leading in rapidly changing, high-growth environments and is passionate about achieving a company’s vision by attracting and developing top, diverse talent, and building extraordinary levels of employee engagement.
