Up the ranks: Dentsu Asia Pacific names new CEO

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the promotion of Rohit Ohri, which includes a geographic expansion of his responsibilities.

Previously leading Dentsu in India and Asia Pacific South, Ohri is now the CEO of Dentsu Asia Pacific, which includes all markets in the region, excluding the Japanese home territory.

This new role sees him relocating from New Delhi to Singapore.

Hiroaki Charlie Sano, executive officer of Dentsu Inc. and CEO of the Dentsu Branded Agencies within Dentsu Aegis Network, commented, "Rohit shares our creative ambition and strong vision for Dentsu and the way we work with our clients."

"I’m delighted he will be taking on a more central position within the network to help guide the business outside of Japan."
