Up the ranks: Brett Conway appointed GroupM's regional chief talent officer

Media investment giant GroupM has appointed Brett Conway as the group’s new chief talent officer for Asia Pacific. He takes over from Angela Ryan, who is moving on to another opportunity as senior vice president of human resources at Fox Networks Group.

Conway will be based in Singapore, where he has lived for the last 11 years, and will report into Mark Patterson, CEO of GroupM APAC. He was most recently the senior director for HR for eBay APAC, and will start his new role with GroupM on 21 May 2018.

"We are very excited to have Brett join us. His breadth and depth of experience will mean we can continue supporting our people in doing their best work, and delighting our clients across the region," Patterson said.

Conway brings 26 years of HR experience in organisations including Coca-Cola, GSK and Illumina, and his journey has taken him from Scotland to Northern Ireland, Russia, Romania and now Singapore.

"I am thrilled to join GroupM at such an exciting time. I look forward to supporting the business and building on the very strong people agenda already in place," Conway said.
