Human Resources, Asia’s only HR media & events brand, has announced new names for its roster of speakers and panellists at the region’s only annual learning & development conference for HR leaders and learning & development specialists, Training & Development Asia. Sharing industry knowledge, accomplishments, and insights are top leaders from AXA, BNP Paribas and Zurich Financial.
Training & Development Asia 2016 is a two-day conference for HR managers and senior learning & development specialists which will take place in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in June.

As the vice president for learning & development at AXA Affin General Insurance, Zohrab Chong is responsible for developing staff capacity and capability development, technical competency, staff engagement and talent management & development programmes. He also leads the implementation of succession planning, learning needs analysis, and learning management system development. Before joining AXA, he worked for MSIG Holdings and GAB Robins. Some of his areas of expertise are strategic planning, talent management, performance management, and business strategy.
Angelo Pinto is commended by his peers for making things happen. Apart from leading the learning and development efforts at BNP Paribas, he also supervises the company’s APAC Campus, a training centre located in Singapore which offers advanced programmes in training and development in various areas, such as talent development, compliance & regulatory and business culture & social responsibility. Pinto holds a postgraduate degree in personnel management from Xavier Institute of Management and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St Xaviers College. Throughout his HR career, Pinto has developed skills in performance management, HR transformation, employee engagement and training.
Known for her dynamic personality and public speaking prowess, Hema Krishnan is currently head of talent, learning & development at Zurich Financial. Before she joined Zurich, Krishnan served as the manager for learning & development at AmBank, where she implemented programmes on talent development, competency management, succession planning, e-learning content design, learning & performance needs analysis and business partnering for L&D solutions. She studied Business Administration at Northumbria University and her master’s degree in Management Psychology at the University of Nottingham.
