SAP dominated the category for the 'best career website by a corporate HR team' at the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, bagging gold at the Singapore edition of the awards, and silver at the awards in Hong Kong as well as Malaysia.
Joining the software solutions provider at the winners’ podium in Singapore was Deloitte & Touche clinching silver, and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise winning the bronze.
Philip Yuen, Deloitte Singapore’s CEO, commented on the win: "It is a testament of our efforts and reaffirms our commitment to providing an environment where our people are able to excel and achieve their full potential.
"It also reflects the breadth and depth of our talent programmes, and the development and leadership opportunities available across all levels including experienced hires."
All entries submitted were judged by a pool of more than 60 senior HR practitioners from the corporate and public sector across Asia.
For this category, the judges looked for a site that got the message across simply and effectively through a clean and user-friendly layout while engaging visitors.
At the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, Hong Kong, GroupMÂ won the gold honour for excellence in in-house career website, with the silver awarded to SAP SE, and McDonald's Restaurants (Hong Kong) winning bronze.
Michael Wright, head of talent acquisition in Asia Pacific, commented on the win: "In marketing services in Asia, the narrative around talent has been all about shortages, a war for talent, and anxiety about the waning attractiveness of agencies as an employment destination of choice."
"GroupM has, for several years, been walking the talk on recruiting, by investing in tools, technology, and talented people. It has been very satisfying to see our strategy validated and the hard work of the APAC team recognised, beyond our industry."
Asia Recruitment Awards, held for the second consecutive year, are the region’s premier awards for recognising and rewarding excellence in recruitment, across in-house recruitment teams as well as recruitment agencies, held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
