Recruitment Asia 2017 launches in the Philippines

Recruitment Asia 2017, Asia’s premier conference on talent acquisition, will launch in Manila on November 22 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier, BGC, Taguig City. Around 200 recruitment professionals and human resources executives are expected to attend.

The stellar event has gained renown in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong for the past three years for its lineup of talent acquisition experts who speak in its keynote presentations and interactive panel discussions. Participants who attend Recruitment Asia learn the industry’s best practices from case studies presented by thought leaders. They also have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas and knowledge with colleagues and partners.

The overall theme of Recruitment Asia 2017 in Manila focuses on how to optimize talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain the best talent available. The latest technological trends will also be highlighted as valuable resources that can draw in the cream of the crop from today’s hires. Other topics include recruitment strategies, strategic workforce planning, onboarding, digital recruitment, employer brand, emerging sourcing channels, and selection excellence.

The speakers are industry leaders with solid years of experience under their belt, covering a wide range of industries. Among the keynote speakers is Joakim Ström, CEO for APAC of Universum, the global leader in employer attractiveness research, who will discuss “Attracting the Right Talent with a Strong Employer Brand.”

Other speakers include Cecile Monteloyola-Rico, Director for Strategic Sourcing and Talent Acquisition of Acquire BPO, who will present “The Key Components of a Highly Effective Recruitment Strategy;” Reina Angela Canda, Deltek’s Head for EMEA and APAC Talent Acquisition, who will elaborate on the importance of “Adopting a Strategic Approach in Recruiting Talent; Jean Lim Parlade, VP of Operations of TaskUs Philippines, who will talk about “Culture Trumps Strategy;” Paul Rivera, CEO of Kalibrr, who will discuss “Taking Your Employer Brand Digital;” Antz Moreno, VP of HR for Telus Philippines, who will present on “Engaging Talents through Digital and Other Cutting-Edge Platforms;” and Mark Collamar, Learning Development Lead of Mondelez International, who will focus on “Implementing a Comprehensive Onboarding Program to Maximize Candidate Experience.”

There will also be two panel discussions on “The Future of Talent Acquisition in the Digital Age” and “How to Implement Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) For Effective and Quality Hiring.” Panelists, who will also present their company case studies, include Amy Hocson, HR Director of GroupM Philippines, and Aleth De las Armas, DXC Technology’s Process and Training Manager for Global Recruiting Operations, and Arlyn Fausto, ABS-CBN’s Head of Recruitment.
