Oracle brings tech expertise to Talent Management Asia

Leading global HCM technology provider, Oracle, has reaffirmed its support of the HR community in Asia by playing a leading role at Talent Management Asia 2016, Asia’s leading HR strategy conference.

Talent Management Asia is a two-day regional conference held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in March 2016. The annual event is attended by regional HR leaders and senior HR specialists from the biggest employers in Asia.

Representing Oracle at the conference will be Yazad Dalal, senior director HCM strategy & transformation.

Dalal will be moderating a panel discussion on “Building an effective change management and organisation effectiveness”.

The discussion will revolve around how senior management can be integrated to make changes, how HR is adding value to the organisation’s goal and how HR can be seen as an important partner to senior management.

"In 2016 we should no longer talk about a digital or mobile strategy, we just need a business strategy for the modern world. Companies that get this are bringing digital thinking to the very heart of their organisations, rather than just adding it on as a nice-to-have," Dalal explained.

"We must use technology to disrupt HR, and redefine how the HR leads to business value. People processes and HRIS will no longer exist as their own domain. Instead, HR and talent management will become fully enmeshed into the future of work, leading to happy employees. And happy employees equals happy customers."

Dalal is responsible for developing thought leadership and identifying trends in all areas of human capital management. He works with HR leaders globally to deliver technology solutions which enable them to transform their organisations and modernise their workforces.

Prior to joining Oracle in 2015, Dalal was EVP Asia at TMP Worldwide, the world’s largest independent HR communications and technology firm. His other experience includes senior positions at Vault.com and Monster Worldwide.
