In an effort to identify and nurture the future leaders of integration, IPG agencies - McCann Worldgroup, MullenLowe and Jack Morton - have joined forces to launch the first-ever graduate apprenticeship programme in Singapore.
Accelerate is a six-month paid internship for graduates from some of Singapore’s leading universities, where graduates will gain vital experience from across different marketing disciplines through a rotational internship at three separate IPG agencies.
The first Accelerate cohort of graduates were recruited from Singapore Management University (SMU) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in June, and started the first of their rotation across the participating IPG agencies – McCann Worldgroup (consisting of McCann, MRM//McCann and CRAFT); MullenLowe (consisting of MullenLowe and MullenLowe Profero) and Jack Morton Worldwide.
Nick Handel, CEO, McCann Worldgroup Singapore; along with Paul Soon, CEO, Mullen Lowe Group South East Asia; and Charles Robinson, SVP, MD, Jack Morton Worldwide Singapore; said in a joint statement: “We are delighted to be welcoming our first ‘Accelerate’ participants. Accelerate is an important initiative, not only because it showcases the incredibly diverse and exciting career opportunities that exist within a modern marketing solutions company, but also because it will help drive the collaborative culture and multi-disciplinary mindset, which is essential to our continued and collective success.”
