List of Thailand's public holidays in 2024

Per the list, there are a total of 10 long weekends this year. 

The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has shared the list of public holidays in Thailand for the year 2024.

Per the list, there are a total of 10 long weekends this year. 

As shared by BOT, it should be noted that for the Islamic Bank of Thailand, extra holidays are given for Eidal – Fitr Day (Ramadan Day), and Eidal – Adha Day (Raya Hajji Day), subject to the announcement by the Sheikhul Islam Office if the date does not fall on any of holidays listed above, or Saturday and Sunday.

Similarly, for financial institutions and specialised financial institutions branches in Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, Satun, and Songkhla, extra holidays are given for Eidal – Fitr Day (Ramadan Day), Eidal – Adha Day (Raya Hajji Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office, and the Chinese New Year Day if the date does not fall on any of holidays listed above or Saturday and Sunday.

  • 16 April, Tuesday: Substitution for Songkran Festival (Official days falls on 13 April 2024, Saturday and 14 April 2024, Sunday)

  • 1 May, Wednesday: National Labour Day
  • 6 May, Monday: Substitution for Coronation Day (Official day falls on 4 May 2024, Saturday)
  • 22 May, Wednesday: Visakha Bucha Day

June

  • 3 June, Monday: H.M. Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday

  • 22 July, Monday: Substitution for Asarnha Bucha Day (Official day falls on20 July 2024, Saturday)
