It really pays to intern at these companies

Would you be willing to pay your interns an annual salary north of US$50,000 (S$63,500)?

The top 25 companies for interns are, according to a survey by Glassdoor which found monthly internship salaries ranged from US$4,634 (S$5,900) to US$7,012 (S$8,900) - mainly at tech companies based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The highest paying company for an intern was Palantir, followed by VMware (US$6,966, S$8,850), Twitter (US$6,791, S$8,630), LinkedIn ($6,230, S$7,900) and Facebook (US$6,213, S$7,895).

But before you decided to turn the notch up on intern salaries, a separate survey by Glassdoor identified the non-monetary benefits interns look for, including career growth (77%), location and commute (41%) and company culture and values (41%).
