HR Practitioner Appointments

Karen Pink accepts new role as head of HR APAC IFMHaving been part of the HR industry since 1991, Karen Pink has been recruited by real estate services provider Jones Lang LaSalle to the role of head of HR APAC IFM. She remains based in Singapore, Previously, she has worked with Unity Group as HR director, Rio Tinto as regional HR manager, and BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance as manager of total reward service delivery.

Shawn Tan takes up new role at Triple in SingaporeTenured with lifestyle and sports retailer Triple since May 2016 previously as head of HR, Shawn Tan has taken up a new role as group HR director. He continues to be based in Singapore. Prior experience includes stints at Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, Mercer, and Robinson and Co, among others.

Discounted offers specialist Fave (previously Groupon) recruits Mary Jane OloresBased in Kuala Lumpur, Mary Jane Olores is now talent acquisition specialist at Fave (previously Groupon), up from her past role as assistant manager - recruitment at Teledirect Telecommerce, where she tenured for just over a year. She has also previously worked with IBM Malaysia.

Ecom Express strengthens senior executive teamAfter being with G4S for more than two years, Saurabh Deep Singla has recently moved to logistics solutions provider Ecom Express as chief human resources officer, based in India. He will be a member of the executive team reporting to the founders, operating from the HQ in New Delhi. In this position, he is directly responsible for the people strategy including talent acquisition, talent development and building organisational capability to support Ecom Express’ growth.

T.A. Krishnan, CEO, commented: "Saurabh has extensive experience in building world-class teams and is a proven executive leader, with a strong track record. I am confident Saurabh’s contributions will be significant in building a strong performance culture as we chart the next phase of growth."

He has close to two decades of prior experience in HR, including roles at Rio Tinto, Yum! Brands, and more.

Total welcomes Marie Lenail-Chouteau back to Paris HQHaving been with oil and energy provider Total as people development manager for APAC and Middle East - marketing and services since November 2016 in Singapore, Marie Lenail-Chouteau has moved to the company's headquarters in Paris as performance and innovation HR manager.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Louisa Yeung designated as executive director at KOS InternationalHong Kong-based boutique recruitment consulting firm KOS International has appointed Louisa Yeung as executive director, based in Hong Kong. She was previously executive director for Greater China at Page Executive, where she tenured for more than 20 years, and was hailed as the first Asian woman MD back in 2013.

Aiming to advance KOS onto the next level of success, Yeung will drive KOS from a local recruitment firm with solid foundation to a regional brand. "These initiatives will better utilise our current expertise and resources to enhance customer experience as well as explore new markets, such as China, to strengthen our service offerings to our valued clients," said the company to Human Resources.

BTI Consultants appoints Rachel Tan as principal search consultantManagement consulting firm BTI Consultants has appointed Rachel Tan to the role of principal search consultant, based in Kuala Lumpur. Tan was formerly section manager at Hays, prior to which she was with Robert Walters as principal consultant - IT.

Reymil De Jesus announces advancement to PersonivRecruiting specialist Reymil De Jesus has been appointed by business outsourcing firm Personiv in the role of US senior recruiter (RPO-technical), based in the Philippines. In this role, she is looking to support and assist RPO clients in providing qualified endorsements to targeted job requests; as well as source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates using various channels such as job board, LinkedIn, Indeed, Career, Monster, Dice and other social media sites, among other responsibilities. Bringing close to nine years of HR recruiting experience to this role, De Jesus was previously with Altegra Health as recruitment specialist.

EY brings on board Pratap Krishnan in Kuala Lumpur Pratap Krishnan has joined EY as talent acquisition executive, where he is tasked with being the key point of contact for at least one of the business units in Malaysia to ensure effective and timely recruitment; execute talent acquisition strategies through various sourcing techniques and be a sourcing guide to the service line leaders, among other responsibilities. He was previously an IBM recruiter supporting Intel Malaysia's global talent acquisition team, and continues to be based in Malaysia.

Victor Tsang comes into promoted role at Robert WaltersPreviously consultant at staffing firm Robert Walters based in Hong Kong, Victor Tsang has been promoted to senior consultant. Prior to this organisation, Tsang was with a boutique recruitment firm as recruitment manager.
