HR Excellence Awards 2021: Singapore finalists announced

Get ready to celebrate excellence in HR as the highly-anticipated finalists for the HR Excellence Awards 2021 Singapore have been revealed.

Coming to you for the ninth consecutive year, Human Resources Online is proud to bring forth the #HRExcellenceAwards, to honour Singapore’s best-in-class HR teams and individuals for their spectacular work across the HR function.

With 26 categories up for entry, the awards recognise teams and individuals who are resilient in pushing the boundaries of people strategy. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards along with individual winner trophies will be awarded. The winners will be announced on 5 November 2021.

The awards are judged by a panel of top HR leaders. This year, the panel includes senior HR professionals from Bayer South East Asia (Crop Science), Changi Airport Group, Fujifilm Business Innovation Singapore, Henkel, L’Oreal, Royal Dutch Shell, and many more.

Judge Pauline Loo, Senior Vice President, HR, Nippon Sanso Holdings Singapore, commented: “The strong line-up of entrant finalists spoke volumes of the significant shift in the fundamental role of HR professionals to become more agile and highly responsive to the VUCA nature of the COVID-19 pandemic”.

Meanwhile, Shirley Cheong, Vice President, People Development & Experience at Changi Airport Group, added that she saw “many of the entries were very close and that each company had made very good progress and achieved good impact and outcomes from their efforts to attract talent and engage their employees despite a much more volatile environment”.
