Gushcloud introduces 'Tinder Leave' for eligible employees to foster social connections and go on dates

A partnership with dating app Tinder, this additional paid leave day aims to support the personal relationships and wellbeing of employees in Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Gushcloud International, a global influencer, content, and entertainment company and Tinder, a dating application, announced on Tuesday (6 August 2024) the launch of 'Tinder Leave' — a company-sponsored Tinder subscription and an additional paid day of leave for employees to go on dates, foster new connections, or engage in social activities.

Gushcloud will be introducing this initiative as a benefit for eligible employees across Asian markets, including Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Commenting on the move, Althea Lim, Co-founder and Group CEO, Gushcloud International shared that the organisation was "thrilled to sponsor Tinder subscriptions and the Tinder Leave as an upgraded Gushcloud employee perk", encouraging employees to build meaningful social connections outside of work.

"We believe that fostering a healthy social life is essential, and this is a great way to take care of our employees in their relationship goals, whether that’s meeting new people, making new friends or finding a life partner", she noted.

A Tinder spokesperson also commented: "Gen Zs are redefining the idea of work and the workplace, focusing increasingly on their work-love-life balance.

"Healthy personal relationships is an increasingly important priority for this modern generation of workers, and employers need to start investing in benefits and initiatives that address employees’ social and personal lives to support their overall social health and wellbeing," they added.
