Former police chief Tsang Yam-pui appointed CEO of NWS Holdings

The board of directors of infrastructure and service firm, NWS Holdings has appointed former police commissioner, Tsang Yam-pui, with effect from July 1, 2015.

Tsang, brother of former chief executive Donald Tsang, has been serving the corporation as an executive director since 2004, a year after he resigned as police chief.

His appointment then had led to public outcry over alleged business-government collusion.

In his new role, Tsang is expected to see his annual salary rise from HKD 8.75 million to around 11 million.
