Fiserv appoints Marc Mathenz as Asia Pacific MD

Financial services technology firm Fiserv has appointed Marc Mathenz as managing director for the Asia Pacific region, responsible for business development, sales and marketing, operations and building customer relationships.

He joins Fiserv from First Data where he was senior vice president, head of Asia Pacific for the last four years. He was transferred to Singapore as the CFO Asia Pacific, a role he held for about four years.

Mathenz has also held a number of senior posts based in London at Henderson Private Capital, GorillaPark, Tomkins and Credit Suisse First Boston.

"Mathenz brings to Fiserv his strong background in business and corporate development as well as operations," stated a company release.

"He has a demonstrable track record of managerial excellence and shareholder value creation with experience working for blue chip leaders in financial services, financial technology, payments services, professional and business services as well as software."
