DBS announces special one-time bonus of S$1,000 to junior-ranked employees globally

More than 23,000 employees across its global offices will benefit from this payout.

DBS announced on Monday (9 February 2026) that it will be giving a special one-time bonus of S$1,000 to junior-ranked employees.

According to the bank, more than 23,000 employees across its global offices, including nearly 6,800 employees in Singapore, will benefit from this initiative. The amount received by each employee outside of Singapore will be indexed to the local market's purchasing power parity.

Sharing her comments, DBS CEO Tan Su Shan said: "In spite of a difficult environment, DBS delivered a resilient set of results and we wanted to specially recognise the contributions of our junior staff."

The bank said a total of S$18mn has been set aside for this one-time bonus. 

The announcement comes on the heels of DBS' Q4 2025 results that were announced today, in which the Group noted a record profit before tax of SGD 13.1bn in 2025, slightly higher than 2024, as total income rose 3% to a new high of SGD 22.9bn.
