Clive Edwards promoted to general manager of AYANA

AYANA Resort and Spa Bali has promoted Clive Edwards to general manager, in recognition of his efforts over the last five years in leading the Jimbaran resort to successful performance.

In this role, Edwards will oversee the resort, which includes The Villas at AYANA Resort and RIMBA Jimbaran Bali by AYANA.

Previously the interim general manager, he brings over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality to the role.

The appointment was announced by Horst Schulze, chairman of Capella Hotel Group, who said, "Clive is as well prepared as he is deserving of this promotion.”

He pointed out that since 2009, the resort has exceed its quality goals, with over 91% of employees rating their satisfaction either 9 or 10 out of 10.

Edwards said 2015 will be a big year for the resort as it builds on the successes following RIMBA’s opening.

He added, "I am honored to be appointed to lead such an amazing team, I truly believe we have the best people on the island with the passion, innovation and experience to set the bar even higher."
