DHL Express has appointed Julian Neo (pictured above) as Managing Director for Hong Kong and Macau, effective 1 October 2026.

He succeeds Andy Chiang, who will retire from DHL Group on 1 January 2027 after more than 34 years with the company.

Based in Hong Kong, Neo will focus on strengthening DHL Express’ position among businesses pursuing international growth. He will support customers, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in accessing global opportunities and expanding into new markets.

Neo will also work to strengthen collaboration across DHL’s business units to provide integrated logistics solutions and support evolving supply-chain needs.

Neo brings more than 25 years of experience with DHL Express, spanning sales, commercial, and management roles across Malaysia, Singapore, and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Before taking up his new role, he served as Managing Director of DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei since 2019. Prior to that, Neo was Vice President for Global Multinational Customers for Asia Pacific, where he oversaw strategic relationships with multinational customers across the region.

Commenting on the appointment, Ken Lee, CEO for Asia Pacific, DHL Express, said: “Julian has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his career with DHL Express. His strong commercial acumen, customer-centric mindset and proven track record of developing high-performing teams have consistently delivered outstanding results across the region.”

Neo added: “I look forward to working closely with our employees, customers and partners to deliver exceptional service, support business growth and animate our purpose of ‘Connecting People, Improving Lives’.”
