Worldline India plans to induct over 200 trainee engineers

The group plans to induct over 200 trainee engineers across its Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai offices from the 2023 batch.

Worldline India has announced the launch of its Paytech Pioneer Programme, where the digital payments company will be onboarding top engineering talent from college campuses across India.

The group plans to induct over 200 trainee engineers across its Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai offices from the 2023 batch, with plans to increase its total headcount to 3,000 in three years. New joiners will begin their journey, from being fresh graduates to full stack developers in span of three years while training on-the-job for skill sets like Java, Dot Net, C++, Testing, PHP, Python, MYSQL, Postgres among others.

For this programme, Worldline India will be visiting colleges for pre-placement talks starting September 2022. Fresh graduates will be evaluated basis three rounds of the selection process:

  • Online test,
  • Aptitude & logical evaluation,
  • Technical managerial aptitude & skills.

Candidates having BE/B Tech – CS/IT with six and above CGPA till final semester 70% & above in grades 10 and 12 will be considered for the qualifying rounds. Further details are as follows:

Paytech Pioneers (participants of the programme) will be working on key tasks. These include executing full software development life cycle, gathering requirements, documenting and proposing solutions, maintaining the code quality, reliability and redundancy, troubleshooting, debugging and enhancing existing systems.

Worldline India plans to induct paytech pioneers starting January 2023 as interns, and onboard them as 'Worldliners' from July 2023.
