WATCH: TV reporter signs off with "F*** it, I quit"

Sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do.

That was attitude of CBS reporter Charlo Greene on Sunday night, who decided to leave her job as a newswoman in Anchorage to focus on the fight to legalise marijuana in Alaska.

In fact, the journalist got so fed up with reporting on the issue of pot that she just had to come clean about her role in the Alaska Cannabis Club... on live television.

“Everything you've heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalising marijuana here in Alaska."

And then, she drops her final exiting words:

We have to admit we feel a bit sorry for the bumbling anchor the shot cuts to after Greene walks off camera.

The KTVA main page has erased the incident from its reel, but that hasn't stopped people from posting it on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

KTVA also issued an official apology on its website:

Dear Viewers,

We sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter during her live presentation on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated.

Although we're not sure why they think Greene has been "terminated" from her job when she so clearly quit - and millions of people saw her do it.
