CH2M has named Shelie Gustafson, 51, as its new chief human resources officer.
The firm, which employs approximately 25,000 employees in 50+ countries, stated Gustafson will lead the company’s global human resources organisation.
CH2M Chairman and CEO Jacqueline Hinman said, “This role is critical to the future success of our company as we look for ways to attract, develop and retain the best employees, while building a globally diverse, inclusive organisation. Shelie brings tremendous experience to this role along with strong knowledge of our company, our culture and the clients we serve.”
Gustafson joined CH2M in 2007 as human resources director for the operations and maintenance business group.
Two years later, she was appointed vice president, global human resources delivery overseeing human resources in CH2M’s domestic and international regions, including North and South America, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, India and Europe.
During her tenure at CH2M, Gustafson successfully led the human resources team in the integration of several acquisitions.
Gustafson holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Regis University and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Colorado.
She is also accredited as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) and global professional in human resources (GPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
